Western Management Group (WMG) is a firm of transportation management professionals. Simply put, we know transit. We are experienced in operations and logistics, fleet and system maintenance and detailed management oversight. Most recently, the team has managed all operations and maintenance of the Las Vegas Monorail.
The principals of WMG have over 90 years of diverse transportation experience both within transit agencies, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, counsels of government and airports as well as with private sector transit service providers.

Who We Are
Curtis L. Myles III, founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Western Management Group LLC (WMG), has over three decades of accomplishment in transportation operations and management, including experience in operations and service delivery, project finance, construction, restructuring, strategic planning. He has a strong belief in data-driven decision making to achieve optimal outcomes.
As President and Chief Executive Officer for the Las Vegas Monorail Company, he led the company to sixteen consecutive years of operating profits, including during the Great Recession, using customer analytics to optimize services for the Monorail system. As Deputy General Manager of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, he helped to lead the RTC in project development, as well as the expansion of public bus services and RTC authorities. As Assistant Director of Aviation, utilizing data analytics in collaboration with the Federal Aviation Administration, he led the development of one of the nation’s first airport-run aircraft ground control operations at McCarran International Airport.
Curtis combines his vast experience with a formal education in Economics and Finance to drive positives results, even in challenging operational environments. It is with this approach and focus that he founded Western Management Group LLC, and with which it will deliver the desired outcomes for its clients.
Pete McCann is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Western Management Group and brings over 30 years of combined experience in the fields of operations, finance, and human resources.
He is responsible for overseeing business operations and development, administration, human resources, payroll, risk management, information technology, security, customer service, and corporate governance.
In 2012 McCann was hired as Vice President of Las Vegas Monorail Company, and in 2015 he successfully brought all of the O&M functions in-house, and was subsequently promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that he held management positions at the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada and McCarran Airport. Before moving to Las Vegas in 1994, McCann worked as an investment trust administrator for several large investment banks in Los Angeles.
During the past decade he has been widely recognized as one of the most knowledgeable and trusted human resource experts in the region, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management with a minor in Business Administration. He earned the Certified Professional certificate (SHRM-CP) by the Society of Human Resource Management, and holds a PHR from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
As the Vice President of Operations, Barrick J. Neill provides executive management for Western Management Group’s divisions of Transportation; Fleet and Facility Maintenance; Safety, Training and Engineering; Procurement; and Technology and Innovation. He also provides strategic support to WMG’s President/CEO in client relations, planning, and communications.
Mr. Neill brings to WMG more than 30 years of experience in the transit industry. Before coming to WMG, he led Transdev’s Southwest Region in Arizona, California, Nevada and Texas with over $200 million in revenue. He also served as the Chair of Transdev’s Diversity Council and as the Transit Administrator for the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master in Public Administration, Political Science from North Carolina Central University and a United States Army Commission from Duke University. He also served honorably in the U.S. Army Reserves as First Lieutenant.
He currently serves on the Advisory Council for the Las Vegas Hoving Home and recently served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Trinity Life Center. He is a graduate of Clark County Leadership 2006, North Las Vegas Leadership 2008 and Leadership APTA class of 2009. Neill has humbly served on Clark County’s Business Advisory Council, North Las Vegas Chamber Board of Directors, Phoenix Sister Cities Board of Directors, Transportation Committee Chair for the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and as a member of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators.
