Technician – Maintenance of Way (3rd Shift)

Western Management Group (operators of the Las Vegas Monorail) seeks experienced Technician – Maintenance of Way (3rd Shift).

Technician – Maintenance of Way (3rd Shift) responsibilities include: preventative and corrective maintenance of the Monorail wayside systems (Traction Power Substations, Guideway, Switches, and Power Rail) Operations is responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and adjustments to all systems, subsystems and components of an electronic, mechanical, electro/mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic nature.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of electronic and/or mechanical experience, or equivalent technical school training
• Must have excellent electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to maintain detailed records of troubleshooting and repairs
• Ability to work holidays and weekends
• Valid Nevada driver’s license
• Must be highly dependable
• Must be able to communicate in written and spoken English (for safety reasons)
• Ability to work day/swing/night shift
